This a difficult situation that you are in.......but it can be solved......you must make sure that you are very calm, although its not going to be easy to a fighter like that and this where mental fitness comes in.......obviously he is gonna get tired for sure....what but alson you must not relax too much for he can also do some great damage to you...... you need to create some space for you....using chudan maegeri........the best technique for this kind of situation is to slow him down with INSIDE GEDAN MAWASHI GERI everytime he is coming in to you.....hope that helps

No picture there for me, but Google translated the event as "All Japan Karate Championships Women's 4th manhood".

Don't be afraid of the guy. Trust yourself and your abilities. Why should he be stronger than you? If you are faced with someone that is similar to you in strength, speed, technique, your mind will be the deciding factor. Be confident and strong of will. Be resolute and lastly, remember to BREATHE! Don't think too much, just act. Confidence and will are things that you may train in everyday life, and are like roots to a tree: The deeper the roots are, the taller the tree may grow.

Ohh well played Fred!!
I was thinking more on allegorical terms. Maybe what I should have said was: the stronger the roots, the biger the tree may grow?

Done and I agree; dictionaries are underused these days. I love the dictionary.com plug in for Firefox and use it daily.

guys...an update from me...
my pic is the 3rd header down: 10-11am
in my case, i've identified the root cause of not fighting how i train. u know, the feeling where you fight really well in class, but turn into a beginner in the ring ?
so i got me one of those pre-fight jitters dvd
and i was really2 calm before and after the fight
pics here
i think you guys can recognize me, im the only one in kk gi
