That is hard to say. All the organisations are growing at a enormeous rate in Russia.
I would say either IFK, IKO2 or IKO1.
but which one?
IKO1 lost many russian dojos to kyokushin-kan when Royama left (royama being the shihan assigned to build up the organization in russia). Before that I would probably have said that IKO1 was in the lead.
I know IFK is big in russia, but How big? I dont think it is as big as IKO1 or 2.
I THINK IKO2 has the edge now, but that is mainly guesswork.
Getting reliable and up-to-date membership figures from the different organizations is not exactly easy.

Thanks again Martin.
Let me see if I get this right. The only difference b/w all those organizations is in "name" only, and not in the style or such, right ?

Privet!
Ty russkiy? Esli net to pishu po English. Here in Russia we have all groups representatives, biggest two is IKO Matsui's RNFOKK(Russian National Federation of Oyama Karate Kyokushinkai) & FKKR (Federation of Kyokushinkai Karate of Russia), first one stronger in western regions, second one in eastern. Then IFK's FKR (Federation of Kyokushinkai of Russia) and WKO's FKKR (Federation of Kyokushin Karate of Russia) they both equal I think. Kyokushinkan's FKKR (Federation of Kyokushinkan Karate of Russia) last one and lesser among these majors. Then we have here a little bit of IKO3, IKO4 & whole bunch of other full contact karate styles, schools, dojos etc. (Even Enshin, Seiwakai)

The thing I like about Russian organizations is that they seem to co-operate with each other a lot. If you check the Russian competition listings you will find a nice mix of fighters from different organizations.

Yes, and I forgot to write that we have AKR (Association of Kyokushinkai of Russia) runned by our Minister of Natural Resourses Trutnev (nidan, honorary godan IKO1) which unite all Russian Kyokushin Karate federations and held first all-Russian AKR tournament with top fighters from all federations last year. Very exciting and unpredictable

Speaking of AKR, which organization does the AKR champion Anzor Shikhabakhov belong to?

Note taht in the AKR Event where Shikhabkhov one, the IFK European & Russian Middlweight and Heavyweight Champion respectively Hachtryan and Savelyev did not compete, not a few other big names.
