Poster for the event
Here is the poster for the event. Applications are starting to come in from around Australia and from several other countries, so it should lead to a very strong event!

Nice job with the poster mate! Who did it?
Don't think Darmen Sadvokasov has made an appearance at the Oz nationals yet...

How about Stepin?? haha.. mate... Nationals are becoming pretty big event ... I reckon soon honbu is going to make it a qualifying event for the Worlds. (haha!)
One of the guys from the Dojo made the poster... I had to retire after my last efforts with the State titles and hand over to someone who actually knows about graphic arts! haha. He has some great skills - he has done up some awesome t-shirts as well... and he is also going to redo the website... so should be pretty cool.
It looks like a good tournament though...
We have guys from Guam, New Calidonia, all around australia (of course) and sensei Dom has mentioned some other countries as well (which I forget... probably New Zealand is one).
Depending on my commitments (if I don't fight that is) I will try and stream it live via ustream.tv.

Just a reminder that applications close this Friday 23rd July so if you are thinking about competing in either the Novice or Open or the kata divisions then you need to get your forms in as soon as possible!
As always Sensei Dom may accept late applications - just email via the website if you need to discuss further... http://www.kyokushinbrisbane.com

Mate you and I (and Pauly) should be in the running for training the longest without getting to Shodan, LOL...
Actually the term training might be a bit loose as well.

Is there a write-up coming soon? I noticed the North Bondi dojo presence from photos on someone's Facebook.

Sensei Dom put up a quick review from the Brisbane fighters perspective on the kyokushin Brisbane page and I put up the results on the tournament page...
I have a bunch of photos etc from the event.. I will hopefully put them up and also the updated tournament draw etc on the weekend... and anything else I can find!
Next up in South Pacific is the New Zealand Nationals - so get on a plane and get over here... haha...
