Dream Knockdown karate matches that did not happen.

Osu! Here is my list of some classic knockdown karate matches that did not happen among contemporaries.

1. Andy Hug vs. Tomasz Kucharewski
2. Jean Riviere vs. Glaube Feitosa
3. Sam Greco vs. Patrick Smith
4. Brian Knegcthes ('91 Sabaki Champion) vs. Tomasz Kucharewski
5. Masake Satake vs. Kazumi ( I am not sure, they might have met)

These are a few of many examples.
We could go on an on, but it would be just interesting to speculate.
Osu!

Agreed.

GSP is 5'10, and walks around at what, maybe 185? Teixeira is 6'3" and 240. No known Knockdown tourney experience for GSP vs the current world champion. (Not that the All American was encouraging this year.) Knockdown rules would not be good for GSP.

An MMA rules fight or even submission wrestling rules would be more in GSP's favor against Teixeira!
