I haven't even gone through a third of what Tsukamoto Norichika is demonstrating yet, I keep rewinding and playing around with his idea of the three axes and incorporating it into your kumite.

They are japanese audio (except a few non-japanese fighters who gives instruction in their own laqnguage)with subtitle in english. To be honest the subtitle is pretty bad (bordering on engrish sometimes), especially for the russian fighters where the title seems to be timed slightly wrong, but it is still comprehendable.

born to be...

osu,

received the dvd´s few weeks ago. they are a must for instructors, and of course fighters. ;-)

mostly good combinations, fighting tactics etc. for all. only the combinations of imbras are not so good. who has his size? ;-)))

the dvd´s are, in my opinion, good too, cause there are lessons held by the fighters, like in training, not to be held as an actor. look at the smiling face, when tsugakoshi is beeing hit at the shin. ;-)))

great!

OSU!

They set a new standard for instructionals, and there are currently no other like them around. Simple as that!
Detailed technical instruction. No glorifying a specific instructor with fun but for instructional purposes useless archive footage.

Only what you get a kumite instructional for.
Only instruction. Detailed explanations. Only kumite related stuff (ok, there are some interviews at the end, but not much, it is separate from the instructional parts, and life is not perfect) with the assumption that if you wanted a kihon/kata instructional you would have bought that instead. Assuming that you already know the basics of knockdown kumite, or explaining it very briefly on the way to more advanced ideas and techniques.

I love these dvds!!
