What does it all mean?

I have been hunting for some kind of deciphering code to the icons and colours on the forum, and I can't find one. For example, I have been genously promoted in my belt colours- are there reasons for this? Also, the envelopes beside the threads - some are red, soem blue, some yellow. What do they mean?
Sorry if this is all somewhere else - I just can't find it.

Yellow envelope = New posts
Blue envelope = No new posts
Red envelope = More than 15 replies or 150 views

Your coloured belts and stripes are based on how many quality posts you have. You now have a blue belt because you have reached 150 posts

Found it! It is at the bottom of the User CP.

I don't see who has given me the points but I do see which indicated thread the points were awarded to.

By the way, what does a blank green dot mean. I got one for my post in a self defense forum. I assume it's negative. :P
