Fight Ippatsu!

Mt Victoria Dojo Fight Night, March 29th
Venue: Mt Victoria Dojo (New Zealand)
Date: March 29th, 2008
Osu! Everyone. Our dojo will be holding another fight event in 2 weeks time. Kamikaze will be fighting in this event from this board. I won't be fighting this time. I will record the event, and keep you updated.

Osu, yes that's Mt Vic Dojo. John Will flies in 4 times a year to run a seminar for the BJJ club, GSW. He did a seminar for the Kyokushin club a couple of years ago to give us his perspective on surviving head punching / self defence. I rate him! It was great stuff - I use it whenever I'm mobbed by kids!

Thank you. I'm fairly sure that I was there for that night.  (First the whole group Kyokushin and some BJJ folk, and then the BJJ only?)
I was visiting NZ, as there was a high chance of a transfer, but two things scared me off. The wind (Should be capitalised as "The Wind!"  ), and how quiet everything gets after 7pm. (With the exception of Cuba Street.)
A very nice Dojo though. Some really good spirit during the seminar, with open-minded attendees.
Thanks again, because it puts in another piece of my world puzzle.

I'll let Kamikaze explain why he didn't fight!!!! 
What a night!!! I thought we were pushing it having 2 fight nights in 1 year and we had no fighters from Seido (usually strong) so my expectations weren't that high but it turned out to be hugely entertaining! Not a dull moment - we're so proud of all our fighters ... and I already have 20 names for the September event!!!
Hopefully our video guru will find time to load a couple of the highlights.
