I too would like to know the responses of all the invited groups.
If they are to send in fighters, what "class" of fighters will they be? And the most interesting question will be if this is truly a cooperation between the different groups with the full support at the highest level, or just some kind of regional joint venture?

I know from speaking with members of Kyokushin-kan, that this is the offical World Tournament sponsored by the Kyokushin-kan Organization. Kancho Royama will be present and it is my understanding that he has been builiding many relationship with other groups and that they will be represented. Which groups they will be...I can not say definitively. But I do know that Kancho Royama has a good relationship with Hanshi Arneil of the IFK, Azuma Jukucho from Daido Juku, Jukucho Katsuaki Sato of Sato-Juku, and quite a few others. It is also my understanding that the olive branch has been extended by the Kyokushin-kan Organization and has been well received by the heads of other orgainzations.
I know that I will definitely be there!!!! I think only good can come from such inter-group cooperation. Through budo we can foster wonderful relationships and put an end to the squabbles that divide so many.

The IFK will be officialy there, I received the email from the IFK office.
Now, this is a world tournament for world organisations only, not individual dojos. Each organisation can bring 2 fighters for each weight class ( -70, -80, -90 and +90kg) and 2 for kata ( 1 man , 1 women).

From what I know, they are in talks with shinkyokushin and iko 1, but no answer yet. Anyway, it's going to be a big event, held in a huge sports arena, from what I know they will invest around one million euro to organize it.
The website has an english page also.

Does "IKO Kyokushinkaikan" mean Matsuiha? I ask this because this name is still claimed by more than one organization besides those using a more "identifying" name on the list.
And could anyone provide some information on the following organizations?

I would also like to ask what "Ashihara" means. Normally I would assume it is NIKO, however Semmy Schilt is not NIKO affiliated.
