Hello people...from Okinawa!
Wazzup ya'll! I am stationed here back in Okinawa compliments of the Air Force. I have been a jack of all trades thanks to being a military brat and then joining. I have partaken in Shotokan and Judo when I went to middle school in Misawa, Japan for two years back from 92-94. I left after graduating H.S. in '97 to Maryland were I joined the Air Force a year later.

My first base was Okinawa and I played with Shorin Ryu and Seidokan Karate. Left to the States to live in Jersey for two years and had nothing to do but work and deploy. Left there to live in the United Kingdom for four years were I picked-up Kuk Sool Won (higher quality TKD) , Muay Thai, and Okinawan Goju Ryu for two and a half years then moved here.

During my time there (last two years) I came across Daido Juku after inquiring about Kyokushin since my closest friend from High School has been in tournaments with me there cheering him on. Learning that there was a dojo here in Okinawa I have gotten my feet wet and with it for the last month and enjoy it well.

I am currently 31 yrs old and married with two kids. I hail from Shreveport, Louisiana but find Japan as my home (lived here for nine years versus six in Louisiana). Word...

Awesome intro and I must say you are one lucky military brat to have spent so much time in Japan. Do tell us plenty in your posts about Okinawa and pics would be much appreciated. I'd love to go visit the Ryukyu Islands. Good luck with Kudo.

There are some things I miss from London! WOuldn't mind having a galaxy and England wise some juice from Tesco!!
