Yoko tobi geri
Hello, I need to practice this kick for my blue belt examination.
Does anyone have some tips ?

In my opinion, concentrate on working on your form more than trying to get more height.
Place a box and try jumping yoko geri(yoko tobi geri) over the box for practicing.

I assume that is not kyokushin .
It help to corect your techinque if you can see yourself in the mirror or video.

However, in Kyokushin Tobi Yoko Geri isn't for blue belt...

i used to do this:
in static kumite stance, jump up to get height n build yr leg muscles & air time
once you're used to that, as u jump up, extend your leg (for yoko geri). focus on extension & chambering the leg neatly before u land
now, add the BOX

Perfect! with all these valuable advices and lot of training I should
"master" Yoko tobi geri. I have 2 weeks yet for my grade.

try using your belt to tie your arm aroud your chess while your guarg is up this way your hand wont fly all over the place and also help the keep your balance might sound weir but a sensei made me do this once and it really help yme with all tobi kicks
