Hahahaaha! Good one, Gary! Lucky they were caring PC types, and not angry ones. They'd have had a SWAT team at your door sooner than Lucy's pizza delivery.

"'e's mad, I tell you, quite mad! Got a great big 'ammer, and 'e's bashin' a tyre roight in 'is droiveway. Completely crackers! Must be all that Oriental stuff..."

Osu! Dent & Al. Towel grip pulls, curls and holds are great for re-hab. In fact I'd recommend them for everything except ballistic type exercises. I saw a guy doing towel grip kettlebell swings. This guy's one grip failure/towel rip away serious 'splainin-Your honor I was just working on my grip. . . It was only a 2 pood bell . . . and the neighbor's dog . . .well, he was an old dog anyway. . .

My wife was horrified to be approached by a caring neighbour a couple of days later, asking "How's he getting on with his anger-management therapy?"

The tyre's now down the tip.

A company in Madrid is offering "stress control" seminars, which mainly consists of taking a sledgehammer to an old car at the local scrapyard. And people are paying for that!

Aaah, I'm possibly a tad late for this thread. However, I do like to see fellow Girevik's suffer...
I'm a great fan of KB's and I must say that my personal favorite is the KB snatch. If you like punishment or would like some more specific CV work than jogging, then try Tabata intervals with snatches:

20s left 10s rest
20s right 10s rest x 4 (adds up to 4 minutes!)

rest 1 min & repeat sequence numerous times (until you re-acquaint yourself with your last meal is a favourite...) You could also tag 2-3 tabata intervals at the end of a grind session, just to make life difficult.

On a different note, KB's are a fantastic tool for prehab & rehab, not to mention doing the exercises properly will get those muscles firing in correct sequences and motor patterns.

Thanks, I'm going to try your Tabata protocol, JimmyLad, but I think I'll keep that meal where it belongs!

I've come up with a horrible new variation. Full push press with 'bells, Star Jump to pull up. Don't expect a lot of reps, but it seems to be a nice explosive training device.

Dent I got tired just reading that. Isnt it good the way we all try and come up with new training variations. Kind of like when im in a car with someone and they point at a steep hill and say "look at the size of that" and all I can think is "oooohh! Hill sprints on that would be evil"

They always seem a good idea at the time, Bloke, but the actual practice... Well, these ideas are just like hill sprints. Fast or slow, they're just plain evil.

Osu! Lots of explosive reps gets my vote for a fun time!
