I thought it was a good enough issue to warrant additional discussion, and it seems I was right.

Politics? From the Latin meaning Poli: Many and Ticks as in blood sucking parasites...?

I remember being physically thrown out of my parents house during a political meeting. I suspect the same thing would happen if I ever ran for office...

Osu! Dent,

That wouldn´t have been a Broederbond meeting, by any chance...

Let's say that my family has been divided by the political shenanigans of its members more than once. Back in the day, we had people on both sides of the fence. Now we have so many fences, I wonder where they all stand?

Now I save my activism for the obvious wrongs. Aside from those issues in SA, I've branched out to our northern border.

(If this post contravenes Forum policy, I fully understand, but my conscience believes that this is an issue that deserves attention.)

People, please do some research on what is happening in Zimbabwe. Choose your own sources, but get many opinions, and as much data as you can before turning away from the plight of the people of the country.

These are difficult times for many of us, but for the citizens of Zimbabwe, it's desperate. They need us to make ourselves heard to our government representatives. Shout loudly, and make them sit up and take notice of this tragedy that is happening as I sit here and write this post, and as you sit there and read it.
