We use fast paced songs in some stages of the practice. When we are working the heavy bag, sprint around in the dojo, ropeskipping, sparring, and so on in that fashion. I think we currently listen to Scooter, Blackeyed Peas (Pump it up) and Rammstein, to mention a few.

I used to Listen to Guns and Roses when they were big but now I find its dance music to get the beats going.

I'm starting to find on days that i'm "reluctant" to go to the gym, I play a little the michelle gun elephant to peep me up.

Still working on coming up with some extra cash to get those Rosso Cds. I haven't actually purchased a CD in ages with the advent of mp3 sharing and bittorrents.

When I'm not training in a formal setting, I listen to lots and lots of hard rock / metal.

Osu,

During my bag workout I usually play at Honbu the Music DVD of Lisa Stansfield. Love the music and love the woman. She is gorgeous!

Osu!

This is what I thought was the situation. (!)

(Speaking of buying CD's, I recently found a site in the USA where you can trade CD's...I thought that business opportunity went the way of the Dodo bird with torrents!!!)

I heard that you can rent music CDs in Japan..? That's abnormal!!!

I really listen to all kinds of music but for training I tend to listen to music used in fighter video highlights.

you can absolutely rent cds in Japan.
Tsutaya, the largest video shop has a huge section of CD's for rent, including all of the new releases...just like renting a video or dvd!

Interesting concept. I suppose they realize that just like dvds and videos, cds can be copied just as easily. Why not let them at least "pay" to copy it.

Yeah I searched up and down for a bit torrent of rosso but could not find any. Thanks for still remembering Vapor. I'm definitely going to get them.

you can rent cd's in australia also, from public libraries... everything from celtic chating to 50cent (lack of dance music is bad thu) O.o

normally have uk hardcore and gabber when im home exercising in lounge or using bag. At gym they have 80s American charts on mostly, due to the mature ladys who relax by walking on treadmills or on bikes.

Off-topic: In Denmark, you can borrow cd's, dvd's, video games etc. on the library free of charge! Note that most new digital media's have a copy protection on them. Also, the music industry has not been negatively affected by torrents and P2P, quite the contrary in fact! Probably because people would like to hear the music before they buy it, and if they do like it, they will send it to all their friends. And that's my off-topic for the day. 8)
