I think I will add periodic updates to here like BigAl and Meguro.

Today.

Quick Jog with the dogs. 25 min
Eight 3 minute rounds on Speedbag with 1 minute rest inbetween that involved practicing my katas or alternating with kick shadowboxing.

Got Enshin to go to after work!

Feeling a bit lazy after reading these posts!! Going to have to sort out a bit more of a routine. So far I'm only doing some aerobic work on the bike, and some basic exercises at home (pushups/situps). Havn't got a solid training schedule though just fit things in where i can. It's quite difficult with a young family, i always feel like i am taxiing them around to their activities(not that i mind at least they are active).

What kind of dog do you have? I have a pug named hercules that could give you a run for your money.

He's much bigger now though.

On a serious note: I've been trying to get into the mode of running early in the morning but can't seem get my energy sparked high enough that early in the morning. usually it's just "do your business", literally walk/stroll around and that's it.

I have my belt test Thursday so I went for intensity today.

5 x 10 explosive burpees

10x3 min Jumprope rounds

5x3 min Kicking the Heavybag rounds

Inbetween sets I did my Enshin Katas(Shiro & Aoi) and kicking drills mixing Mae Giri,Mawashi Geri(Jodan,Chudan,Gedan) Uchiro Geri,Yoko Geri.

Basically just mixing them up into combos using Sabaki Technique.

If there's one thing I'm sure of it's that I'll not be ready for K2! There are a couple of events in Nov. I'm gonna try and be ready for them if work allows and then see what the next 12 months bring, really don't want to retire from fighting before I go for my BB grading next year and would really like to fight at Palace next Oct even oif it means taking a few weeks off ato prepare.
